SOWING AND REAPINGGod is the creator of everything on this earth. John 1:1-3 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Genesis 1:29 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 8:22 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Therefore everything in the earth (the natural) has been set by God. It will not change. If you want a certain harvest you have to sow the appropriate seed. Amen. You can just sow something that you want to sow and expect to get what you what to get just because you want to do it your way. You have to do things the way it is set up. Apples seeds for apples. Pear seeds for pears. Etc. The Spirit World God is the Lord of the harvest. Lord of the harvest. Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Therefore in the spirit just like the natural God decides what is reaped by what is sown. Go to a natural example. Watermelon. One day I saw a watermelon grown in my yard. I didn’t plant seed. Only God knows where the seed came from and how long it had been there. Some things you sow you may not reap but your children may reap what you have sown. Back to the Watermelon. I planted watermelon seed several times. But I never got watermelons. For the seed to grow you need the right soil, amount of sun and water and so forth. Therefore even if you sow the right seed your still may not get a harvest without the right enviroment. Also one more example. We have to understand seasons. Let’s say a man wants a wife. And he sows what he thinks he should to get a wife. And he sows correctly. But let say this man is 21 but God doesn’t want him to get married until 25. He has not matured enough and there are things God wants to do in his life first. Therefore it is not the season yet for the young man. When sowing we reap in the right season. These are things we must learn to receive a great harvest. Review. 1. God is the one that decides seed and harvest. What you sow and reap. 2. Find out what God says to sow for what you want to reap. 3. You must also sow in the right enviroNment. 4. Know the season God wants you to reap. 5. Have patience. (Faith) James 5:7 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Galatians 6:9 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. These things will help you have success and limit your frustration in reaping and sowing. Now lets go into some of the things Gods says that if you sow this you will reap that. There are things that you sow when you walk with God. Psalm 126:1-6 1 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. 4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Mark 8:35 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. Matthew 19:29 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Luke 4:1-2 1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
